http://scribblescrabble.blogspot.com/2009/05/book-in-week_18.html
Monday, May 18, 2009. Book in a Week. I finished my class, Book in a Week last week. The class was amazing. Okay, back to the class. I wrote a total of 26,000 words- a little more than half my goal. I felt I let myself down, but 26,000 words was more than I most probably would have done if I hadn't taken the class. Here's what I learned about myself as a writer:. Fortunately, they were allowed to stay! Unlike sporting events in the U.S., you couldn't buy any souvenirs, and there was limited food choice. Back in September, I chaperoned Brendan's class trip to the Augusta Raurica. The kids love using the firepit in the yard. In addition to s'mores, you can pop popcorn! We're currently on a ...

For Judith Bows, Library Supremo, and all the children of ICS, Zurich and especially for Abbie, Lara, and Caroline, who asked me to do an adventure story for them; for Nilou who likes yellow, Esther who likes dark blue and Maria and Malti who prefer purple.". Thursday, September 17, 2009. Reaping Rewards . or not! I'm into heavy rewriting and editing on Nineteen Darby Way. I'm rewriting the entire book from present tense to past tense. And then there's the reward at the end of the week.I'm not sure what it is, but I can have it only if I've logged in 12 hours of actual work. This week I don't get a reward but I'm holding out for something special next week. I'll keep you posted! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 2009 Reading . Reading . Reading.
