April 15, 2007 at 2:23 pm ( Uncategorized. I am known to be an ethical person in my blogs. However, the ethical case here (dehydration, starvation, is wrong) is simply one I do not agree with. This is because of the simple fact that the dehydration was NOT painful. She did not feel it. How can I say this with such certainty? Equal Rights for All … unless it infringes on mine? February 25, 2007 at 8:41 pm ( Uncategorized. HIV is a heartbreaking disease, especially when seen infecting young children. Though I feel extraordinary sympathy for all who have HIV, I do not support integrating infected children into schools. I came to this decision after considering the situation from the views of many of the groups involved. Comments (both supporting and opposing) are welcome. March 3, 2007 at 5:15 am. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Week 4 Response: Paradise Lost. September 21, 2008. I was glad to see that Paradise Lost became progressively easier to read towards the final sections (or, perhaps, that I was just becoming more accustomed to it). That being said, it still remains one of the hardest texts to interpret that I have ever read, and that leads me into my main source of confusion this week. Of particular significance is how quick Eve was to give in to Satan’s tempts to eat the fruit. Eve was...

Christine ’s Amazing English Blog =). Just another WordPress.com weblog. To Die or…To Die July 28, 2007. 8212; cconti @ 7:55 pm. The death penalty is one of those issues that everyone is always “unsure” about. Frankly, in my opinion, you’re either for or against it. If murdering an entire family doesn’t derserve the death penalty, then there is something seriously wrong with our society. An entire family! And for no plausible reason what-so-ever. In the context of In Cold Blood. July 28, 2007 at 9:32 pm.

Laura Jane’s Blog. Week 9 Response: The Faerie Queen. Week 11: Sonnet →. Week 10: Monty Python. October 26, 2008. Hello again, readers! Okay, so correct me if I’m wrong, but as far as I know, our blog this week was to be about Monty Python, explaining some of the reasons that the writers of the movie chose to incorporate some modern or out of context details into the script. So let me explain to the best of my ability. They completely disregard the fact that Arthur is the monarch of an entire kingdom.
Week 3 Response: Beowulf | My Weblog
https://prwilliams1.wordpress.com/2008/09/07/week-2-response-beowulf
Just another WordPress.com weblog. Week 3 Response: Beowulf. This week I’d like to discuss the significance of the Dragon scene within the poem. Christians view a dragon as a symbol of sin and death. It could be concluded that the dragon is almost the epitome of evil. This being said, could this be why the author decided that the dragon scene should be the last of the three conflicts-considering that is when Beowulf dies? Or fate. Starting on line 2419, the author writes, He was sad at heart, unsettl...

In my opinion, is in some places dated, though the main idea is still relevant and important today. It is obvious in reading. Was written to now. On July 31, 2007. I have this great idea! Maggie’s British Literature Blog. Just another WordPress.com weblog. January 12, 2009 by maggienelson. So (Will I ever get tired of that word? So it has been eighteen weeks. I have over-used the phrase half-thought to the exasperation of those around me, and I have learned, if not anything else, that it is always the fault of the Catholic Church. No exceptions. But really, it has been a wonderful experience, and I cannot wait for second semester! Thank you, Mr. R, for a greatly enjoyable fourth period.
