Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Another little race happened. The competition was quite good for a small local race. My lead up to this race seemed okay. I feel. On the up and up with training and life balance in general, and that is great. Wattie Ink Race Kit, Powerbar nutrition, ISM Adamo Road- perfect race set up. Tuesday, July 14, 2015. I ran my yearly 5k this past weekend at the RRS. I don't think it really deserves a race report.I mean, what really happens in 3.14 miles? I did dump a ton of water on my head as it was unreal hot. Yes, 5ks in July are miserable. Who knew? I felt like I was running through mud. My time was okay-ish. I. Saturday, January 17, 2015. At the awards banquet with my soccer-turned-runner girls. Last weekend I went to the RRS banquet. I managed to eek out a 3rd place AG award at the 2014 RRS . I am a little cursed with this series . On 3 different years, I have been 1st. In my AG for 75 %-90% of the series and then lose it on the last race or two. Having the staying power for a 5 month series is part of the game! Fortunately, I always lo se to friends, so it gives me a fun story for my "bac k in th e day".

Monday, February 16, 2015. It has been a very busy month! I am thrilled to have a few minutes to write on my blog, though, as our winter weather has kept us home and Isla is happy counting glue sticks and doesn't need my immediate attention. Daddy's little helper.I left the room for one second and she had climbed up on his surgery side. Oops! No wonder the surgery hurt. Yikes. But Dave is doing awesome now. He is still immobilized but hopefully starts PT next week. Because swim caps go with every outfit!
