Maggie's Craft Workshop

Sunday, 9 January 2011. I can't believe another year has passed already. Thank you to every one who entered the Bag Challenge for breast cancer. The challenge was to make an outrageous bag using half a metre of calico (provided by me), and to add embellishments, embroideries, beads, etc to make it as outrageous as possible. Although there were fewer entries than last year, the ingenuity was excellent; we had quite a challenge to judge them. You win a free weekend to my workshops during 2011. After the su...

http://maggiescraftworkshop.blogspot.com/2008/12/quilt-challenge-2008.html

Thursday, 25 December 2008. The entry fee was £5, all of which was donated to the Macmillan Breast Cancer Care. A total of £235 was collected. All the entries were of a consistently high standard, and the judges had a difficult time choosing the winners. However, I am pleased to announce that Rosemary Richards gained first place for her entry entitled. Iris, Goddess of the Rainbow. Competition was so fierce that a clear runner up could not be decided, and so there are two entrants in second place. Colour...

Sunday, 21 February 2010. After the success of last year’s challenge, I decided to do one every year, with the first prize a free weekend at one of my workshops. The theme this year was a three dimensional object with the title “I do like to be beside the seaside”. There were two second place winners -.

Thursday, July 19, 2012. Our sweet Maggie will not be traveling anymore. We'll leave this blog up so we can always remember all of the fun places she went and the wonderful hosts that she had while traveling. Maggie has decided to return to her original "Kirsten" roots. She has been adopted into a forever home where a little girl was very, very happy to meet her on Christmas morning, 2011. Thank you all for giving Maggie (and us) such a fun journal to help us always remember Maggie Scout. Whew, I've had ...

Donderdag 22 september 2011. Wat vliegt de tijd! Zometeen nog wat wassen draaien en mijn koffer inpakken, want morgen mag/ga ik op vakantie! We waren met zo`n 90 ...

My Other Body Is 21 and Skinny!

My Other Body Is 21 and Skinny! Thursday, April 18, 2013. Day Three That would be the butt Bob! Well, the good news is that I am not as sore as yesterday. Bad news is my back side is. OMG I should be able to crack walnuts with my butt checks by the time I am done! I really did work my ass off yesterday. My thighs were screaming and protesting but I got through it! I did find I am not as limber as I once was. Big surprise huh? Everything was washed down with good old bottled water! For the first time in a...
