The BSG is a challenging to strenuous 90 mile loop ride starting and ending at the Valle Crucis Elementary School, approximately 5 miles south of Boone, North Carolina. The cumulative climbing elevation is 6629 feet with the climb up to the gap at Snake Mountain, milepoint 50, reaching an 18-20% grade near the top.

The team sent nine riders out to Beech Mountain to compete against the top riders in the country. One of these riders, Alex Dawson, went on to win the downhill race to become the national champion. We are so proud to have him as part of the team and appreciate all the hard work he put in to make this happen. Thanks to everyone for all of the support over the season!
