Monday, November 29, 2010. I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving break. After trying to play catch up on several hundred things around home we made a fast break to Louisiana. Of course I brought my camera. And of COURSE I’m going to share a few shots… I think I may blow these up a little and print them in black and white for the house. They remind me of home. Magnolia Sangha | A community of mindfulness & compassion in Memphis, Tennessee
A community of mindfulness and compassion in Memphis, Tennessee. One flower is made of the whole cosmos. Located in south Memphis area, Magnolia Sangha is a mindfulness practice group in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh. It is also inclusive of Theravada and Tibetan traditions. All visitors are invited to attend. We practice sitting meditation and have a Dharma discussion once a week. The Magnolia Sangha meets at Quan Am Monastery, 3500 S. Goodlett St. in Memphis. Each Thursday from 6:00-7:00 pm.
