Friday, January 4, 2013. End of Break: the good, the bad, the ugly. Not counting Sat/Sun, today is the last day of my kids' Christmas Break. These endings are always met with mixed feelings, but I'll be honest. The mix is heavy on relief. Thankfully, the last day was warmer than most of the rest of their break has been, so the kids were able to spend lots of time outside. Within our marriage, we have a pretty laissez-faire attitude toward keeping house. What generally happens is that I do most of the work, unless I don't feel like it. When I don't feel like it, anyone else is welcomed to pitch in if he/she wants anything done. Usually they just wait for me to get to it. I always get to it, eventually. Okay, so they will.

Thursday, May 28, 2009. This was Addi Jane's first trip to the zoo. I think she liked it.as long as she had a bottle in her mouth. This is an amber Jack fish. Just like the one daddy cought on his trip. All my sweet girls! I love them so much! Ali fell asleep on the train ride. That girl will fall asleep anywhere.
