http://lrmccarney.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
I live for little moments like this. Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Let's face it - I am not a great blogger. I make no claims to be good at it, and I seriously considered deleting my blog this year. However, I think we will give it another try! Since my last post. Luke and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary. Braddock's first trip to the ER (notice the purple suture glue on the forehead in some of the pictures). Emmett's first tooth.then teeth. We moved to Boise. I now work at St. Luke's Hospital.

McCarney Family: New York

I live for little moments like this. Thursday, January 6, 2011. Ice Skating in Bryant Park. Right after the Marathon. Jessica and I at the Empire State Building. By popular demand, I give you the account of the marathon (and, by default, the entire NYC trip). And yes, 1/6 comments makes it a popular demand. We flew into NYC on Friday and left on Wednesday. My sister Jessica and her husband Brent came with us. It was so much fun! I got online, my computer's clock was not working. anyway. I finally...I lai...

McCarney Family: November 2009
http://lrmccarney.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
I live for little moments like this. Wednesday, November 25, 2009. I Am The Type of Gal. That loves to feel well-rested, but is definitely a morning person and can't sleep in even if I really need it. Part of it is that my mind gets going, thinking about all the things I need to do and then I can't slow those wheels back down. Also, I really love the morning time when everything is so quiet and peaceful. That LOVES to read! That LOVES the outdoors! Likes to have the house clean. I also love living close ...

The Brintons: August 2013

Wednesday, August 7, 2013. Good to be in Madison. These summer days are messy, tiring, happy, and perfect! Jacob and Zachary have been taking golf lessons every week with a few buddies. One day they forgot a water bottle on the course. I sent them back to get it, and when they came back 15 minutes later, they were loaded down with golf balls- Zachary could barely walk for the bulge of his pockets! Around town we've been busy with city events. The free traveling art projects with the Art Cart have fil...

The Brintons: September 2012

Friday, September 7, 2012. Most embarrassing, yet perfect Labor Day. Labor Day began as one of the most uncomfortable situations in my entire mothering life. Eric and I planned with some friends to go rafting/canoeing down the Wisconsin River. They found a fun beach with these sandbar "islands" close enough to wade to, and we set our GPS's to "Go! The walk took 45 minutes, mainly because I was carrying between 1–3 kids on my shoulders/back/hips the entire time! Oh my Oh no! After regaining my composure, ...

The Brintons: February 2012
http://aebrinton.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 17, 2012. Some winter fun and a little aloha! The boys and I went on a crisp but sunny bike ride this morning- it was perfectly mild, strangely typical of this winter. We used our snowblower exactly once and shoveled the front walk only a handful of times! Now there are bike-riding days in February: hallelujah! Max is feeling the goodness:. All winter long, we've had blessed little sunshiny days for zoo trips. Hanging out in the neighborhood warming hut (with my dad, ah yeah! The boys an...

The Brintons: February 2014

Tuesday, February 18, 2014. Confirmed: boys in subzero temperatures can't feel the cold when they're having fun! Our day at Cub Scout winter day camp started out at -3F, rising to 16F by the afternoon. There was no indoor shelter, just hot chocolate and some "dump soup" (every kid brings a can of non-cream soup and dumps it in a huge crockpot- delicious, really! Over 120 boys attended the camp. Despite their best efforts, not all of them could fit on the merry-go-round concurrently. Everything went wrong...

Wednesday, January 15, 2014. Visiting with our Nana, Sam, and the Alldredges! We know our families love us, because they come regularly to see us here, even in the winter! We were thrilled to have Uncle Sam come for a long weekend! We got in some hockey, laser tag, and game fun. He has a heart of gold- he also spent hours pulling kids on sleds, reading to them at home, and matching a multitude of socks! We were equally thrilled to have our Nana come visit from Russia! Family, what a blessing to see you!
