An official should be positioned down track who would also have a controller for the warning devices. He would be able to see top end issues that the starter may not. 60 Corvette Super Stock. I knew I could bring this car back to life, a better life that it’s ever known! A life as an NHRA/IHRA Super Stock racer and more! The car will see action/fun in more arenas than the old Mahaffey Motorsports Roadster, and that’s a lot! Since the car is just about a total build, it is heavily modified but will have a stock outward appearance. During the planning phase, I concentrated on developing a car that could be multifaceted and able to do anything! Lovin' life every day!

Henry Sliwinski, who bought the Wade's Corvette Roadster, scored two wins and a runner up in 2001! One of the wins was at Super Chevy Bandimere - a huge win! The engine compartment is full of aluminum goodies from the trick fan shroud to the inner fender wells. The 427 BBC is fresh with new Brodix heads and an Edelbrock intake. The Stingray has a modular body, removable in sections. The wheel tubs, flooring, and interior are all Dzus removable. A Mahaffey Motorsports Roadster is for you!

My 1970 Plymouth Duster was raced in 2006-07. It was a lot of fun and didn’t cost much to race. It won several races during the two seasons and one track championship, the 2006 Maryland International Raceway Midnight Madness Grand Champion. The car qualified for the championship runoff in 07 as well as qualifying for the IHRA bracket finals in Rockingham but did not go! Sold this car in early 08 to begin working on the 60 Corvette project. Lovin' life every day! At work and race cars.

Wade Mahaffey's dragster was a masterpiece. With Mahaffey engineering and always great detail, this dragster was the finest racer he had ever built. Wade's racer is to the common dragster what the F-18 Hornet is to the common aircraft. The Mahaffey Motorsports Super Comp / Quick Rod 230 inch 4-link dragster was painted by alcohol funny car pilot Bruce Mullins. Rubbing it out was Jason Welch and Tommy Cable. Tommy also designed and applied the lettering. The only thing missing is the wings.

Kids get up close and personal with the Corvette as Wade talks safety. Safety education is very important to our young people. I have two visual aids that assist me when speaking to groups of children. When I speak about safety while on duty as a fire fighter, I have the big fire truck just outside. When off duty, I have the shiny dragster race car. The children respond to either vehicle with eyes and ears wide open! This is the time to take advantage of their short attention spans. Monday, August 11, 2014. Summer to Remember…. Uncle Chad's Boat. Thanks for the wonderful Time! Uncle Chad asked if Lese wanted to go with him, as he has done this with his smallest Child as well.
