It is also believed that in ancient times Lord Shankara meditated here. Even the renowned Shri. Gorakshanatha of Navanath tradition chose this place for his meditation. Later on a temple of Shri. Gorakshanatha was build here. Maheshmal is considered as Tirupati of Marathwada and has many traditions of Tirupati followed in the same way. Annual Ceremonies / Utsavas. There are some annual utsavas celebrated gloriously. Sparkling jyotis light up the place and colorful flowers decorates the temple enhancing its beauty. The whole atmosphere is filled with divine light and holy fragrance. Devotees gather to pay their tribute to lord Venkatesha and gain his blessings. There are three such utsavas. Varshik Utsava from Vaishakh Shudhha Dashami to Dwadashi. Pavitrotsava from Shravan Shudhha Dashami to Dwadashi. Cement Road and Parking.
