Two centuries ago the Hawaiian people tended Ulu (breadfruit) trees on this property. The land was subsequently sold by the Hawaiian 'Crown' to Thomas Spencer and used to raise sugar cane until the 1980's. Formed in late 2012, Mahilani Partners LLC is the caretaker of two properties, and has agreements with other properties, allowing it access to over 1000 acres ranging in altitiude from 1000' to about 2400'. The details of these properties are shown in the The Farm and The Forest tabs. Our goal is to develop a profitable agricultural business in order to earn sufficient income to pay farm operating/maintenance costs, plus invest in infrastructure improvement and soil remediation.
