Plows hadnt been on the streets of Southeast, DC in days since the storm had started, while Columbia Heights, Dupont Circle and some other spots were getting plowed and salted with ease. My mood lightened as I got to talk to a few friends by phone and they were telling me about their adventures in the snow. It was a laugh I needed for today. Actually by evening I felt a lot better.
