Manifestations of the Mind. I like the thing where we write thoughts. Perhaps its a way, we let out something. I like the time we say, we are thinking. Perhaps its a way, we tell others that we aren’t too dumb or have less EQ. But I like the place here where I would quote sayings… not mine, people great or so infamous. Perhaps its a way, I tell, I am trying to improve. Δ “ I. 8211; Charles Dickens – A Tale of two Cities. Δ “ B. 8211; Bhagavad Gita. 8211; Michael Jordan. Δ ” A. 8211; John Kenneth Galbraith.

Musings on books, writing, rejection slips and all the other things that make a writer's life. Sunday, February 12, 2012. From Book to Bollywood. Everyone has their list of things to do before they kick the bucket and I'm no exception. If anything, my list of things to do which at that time seemed unachievable started early when as a precocious (well, my mother may have had other adjectives to describe me! Musings on books, writing, rejection slips and all the other things that make a writer's life. Sunday, June 3, 2012. From Son to Father.Part I. So when it comes to doing something that acts both as a tribute from son to father and symbolizes how I think my father would have liked his legacy to be kept alive, I tend to shun these material and temporal tributes. Instead, I want to focus on something that bound us- a belief in the power of ideas and the power of the written word. A prescient treatise about ...

Musings on books, writing, rejection slips and all the other things that make a writer's life. Saturday, December 15, 2012. Yesterday several things happened that made me write this blog. First, I got a request to write about the supposedly impending Doomsday by Bookchums.com, then my mother in law of all people asked me if the world would indeed end on December the 21. It’s within each of us. Today, Doomsday came true for twenty innocent children, and with them, we all lost a little bit in our battle ag...

Musings on books, writing, rejection slips and all the other things that make a writer's life. Friday, February 1, 2013. LIVING NEXT DOOR TO THE KING. In later years, as someone who began to discover a love for writing horror, and as someone who enjoyed reading horror as a genre, I grew up in awe of the amazing body of work Stephen King had created. Am now at #12, but find myself checking often whether I’m back, living next door to The King. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
