Visions Through The Lens. A photographer's vision of the natural world. Thursday, May 2, 2013. Photo quote for today:. If you want to make good photographs, a camera has to be second nature to you. Devoting too much attention to technical decisions can interfere with your creative processes. Love the lighting, there are none of these in the Sabattus River. May 2, 2013 at 3:22 PM. Visions Through The Lens. A photographer's vision of the natural world. Wednesday, May 21, 2008. Photo quote for today: "When your mouth drops open, click the shutter." -Harlod Feinstein. I find the best way to enjoy a Forget-Me-Not is under a macro lens. These flowers are so small it's easy for the passerby to overlook these fragile beauties. Tuesday, May 20, 2008. Tiger Swallow Tail and Blue Flag Iris. It's hard for me to add any other words to today's quote, so please enjoy. -Mike. Monday, May 19, 2008.

Visions Through The Lens: March 2008
http://mainethroughthelens.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Visions Through The Lens. A photographer's vision of the natural world. Monday, March 31, 2008. I chose to present this image on my first blog post because of it's simplicity. Making the image however was more challenging then it appears. It was captured on slide film using existing light, a mechanical camera with a manual focus lens, mounted on a tripod. Patient. When the opportunity arises you need to be ready to capture the image without hesitation. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Visions Through The Lens. A photographer's vision of the natural world. Sunday, July 8, 2012. Photo quote for today:. The camera always points both ways. In expressing your subject, you also express yourself."- Freeman Patterson. Some of the birds from a recent day trip to Sanabel Island. Great shots. Images featuring the Landscapes, Wildlife and Flora of Maine. Pineland Farms Revisited…. Posted by John T. On July 28, 2015. Posted in: Close Ups. I paid another visit to Pineland farms flower garden this past weekend. I only took a few photos because the sun ended up coming out and the wind picked up. Anyone who shoots macro, wind is the macro photographers biggest enemy and I also don’t like photographing flowers in bright sunshine. Larr; Night Time Black Eyed Susans…. Sky’s on Fire….
