Vetmommy -- Taking care of the small creatures in my life
http://vetmommy.blogspot.com/2012/04/geez-this-is-terrible.html
Vetmommy - Taking care of the small creatures in my life. Monday, April 30, 2012. Geez, this is terrible. My only post last month was on the first. My only post this month is on the last. I've been busy, blah blah blah, with work, kids, writing dental reports, choir, teaching Bollywood, etc. Also, flirting with the E2 Diet. Have you seen the documentary "Forks Over Knives"? Or this black bean taco with sautéed zucchini and tomatoes. Put another tea towel on top,. Then spread the teriyaki-glazed tofu on a...

Vetmommy -- Taking care of the small creatures in my life: October 2011
http://vetmommy.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Vetmommy - Taking care of the small creatures in my life. Thursday, October 06, 2011. All of hot August we looked forward to our vacation planned the last week of September in Washington State. My cousin was getting married, and we made plans to extend our stay to 10 days. The trip did not disappoint. The weather was cool and showery up there, while it continued to be in the 100's down here in Texas. It is so nice to drink coffee and hot tea when its cold and damp. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Vetmommy -- Taking care of the small creatures in my life: March 2012
http://vetmommy.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Vetmommy - Taking care of the small creatures in my life. Thursday, March 01, 2012. My Heart Will Go On. We finally got Titanic. Last weekend from our local library. It can be hard to locate slightly older movies now that there are no video stores anymore, and I wanted to share this flick with my kids ever since they got interested in Titanic lore a few months ago. We get to watch Titanic. I told the kids. They screwed up their faces and said, "We don't want to watch it. It's too violent! So we paused in...

Vetmommy -- Taking care of the small creatures in my life: July 2012
http://vetmommy.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Vetmommy - Taking care of the small creatures in my life. Friday, July 27, 2012. Oh my poor, poor blog. I did start a post in May about my vivacious Grandmother, and never finished it. What happened? May, as previously stated, is horrible for us. Too many birthdays (4 in my immediate family), anniversaries, graduations, piano recitals, ballet recitals, Mothers' day, etc. Mixed messages so far from the Academy while my application is being evaluated. Amazing tropical fruits in Ecuador! Ecuador is cheap, a...

Vetmommy -- Taking care of the small creatures in my life: Colinism Spelling
http://vetmommy.blogspot.com/2012/11/colinism-spelling.html
Vetmommy - Taking care of the small creatures in my life. Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Colin still says inventive, funny things. I love his sentences for spelling homework. Here are a few gems:. My hair is bald. I love to look at cat claws. Do frogs like peanut butter? Over 1,900 people drowned. I saw the cat rising. After I went swimming I stripped. All of my cloths. Every person in jail wears a striped. The mean people were bragging. Water droplets off of its end. A seagull at the beach today.

Vetmommy -- Taking care of the small creatures in my life: Benefit Concert
http://vetmommy.blogspot.com/2012/02/benefit-concert.html
Vetmommy - Taking care of the small creatures in my life. Monday, February 20, 2012. Remember Jump Rope for Heart? At my kids' school they still do it. Mostly it seems like a big bribe, all these neat prizes you can win if you raise a lot of money. And then there's the day when you jump rope in the gym while wearing a red Tshirt. So one day Anna announced she was walking her dog, and started to leave with a stuffed satchel over her shoulder. "What's in the bag? I asked. "N-n-nothing! SUNDAY AT 2 PM.

Laquo; vanity fair. Hey you, new guy. Yeah you, the one who has been here for 3 weeks? Listen, I don’t know how things worked at your old place of business, but here, when you call a meeting to start at 3pm, you don’t sidle on in to the President’s office and chat him up for a half hour while we wait for you to start the meeting THAT YOU SCHEDULED. Way to respect other people’s time. Poor poor taste. This entry was posted on April 21, 2009 at 4:03 pm and is filed under random. From your own site.

Ripe for Reading: Slug
http://ripeforreading.blogspot.com/2006/06/slug.html
Today is the tomorrow we worried about yesterday'. I feel like a slug. I haven't danced and drank like that since I was in college.whoa. Last night was a blast! Some of the girls came over to pick me up and have a toast to the fun night that it would be. Bub took pictures of me donning my tiara (which hurt my head so bad! And my long veil. I felt like a princess. I never ever wish people to think I act like one or should be treated like one, but last night I felt like one in the right kind of way. Michel...

Vetmommy -- Taking care of the small creatures in my life: A short trip to Hawaii
http://vetmommy.blogspot.com/2014/03/a-short-trip-to-hawaii.html
Vetmommy - Taking care of the small creatures in my life. Sunday, March 30, 2014. A short trip to Hawaii. Last year, Anthony and I bought some rural property on the Big Island of Hawaii. It's a gorgeous, 7.4 acre valley with views of the Pacific and of Mauna Kea. It is raw, beautiful land. The only structures on it are two old redwood "sheds" that the previous owners had moved and placed on pallets there. No electricity, no water. Here's sunrise the first morning on the property:. Anthony was impressed m...
