Mairieanne. the life of. What I love, know, am fascinated by. A bit about names. The story behind my pointe shoes →. Books are wonderful. They are like doors to different worlds; we flip through the pages and suddenly we’re not on this Earth anymore. At least not on the Earth. Know We either see it from someone else’s perspective, or find ourselves in totally different worlds. Different universes! Through the diversity of the worlds pictured in books we can learn about the diverse world that surrounds.

Z tych wszystkich sukienek najbardziej chyba chcę te wszystkie wczesnowiktoriańskie, w tym na pierwszym miejscu ex aequo czerwona z długim rękawem i błękitna z fashion plate'a. Piątek, 24 października 2014. Pióro najmłodszej siostry pobiegło po papierze. Powieści sióstr Bronte. Ponieważ nie jestem wystarczająco kasiasta, a do tego kupiłam jeszcze dwa prześliczne. Wydania Dumy i Uprzedzenia. I Rozważnej i Romantycznej,. Byłam zmuszona wybrać tylko jedną. I tak padło na Annę, gdyż Emilię i Charlottę już czytałam. Kupiłam Agnes Grey. Po raz pierwszy miałam niejasne wrażenie, że czytam pierwszą, zupełnie niedopracowaną wersję Jane Eyre. Tym razem mam wrażenie, jakby Agnes Grey.

Niedziela, 9 listopada 2014. Zawsze czatuję na wszelkie filmowo-serialowe historyczne (i im podobne) nowości, bo uwielbiam oglądać "ożywające" stroje z dawnych wieków. Zazwyczaj seriale tego typu mnie nie zachwycają - ani sposobem prowadzenia akcji, ani strojami. Wyjątkiem są seriale BBC, będące zazwyczaj ekranizacjami klasyków literatury angielskiej. Oglądając "Outlander" byłam zafascynowana szkockimi krajobrazami, sposobem prowadzenia akcji, kreacją postaci, no i - oczywiście - strojami. Że taka sytuac...
