Over the Sea to Glasgow. Monday, November 12, 2012. November and Bonfire Night! Things can be so dull in November - the Halloween fervour (in my case, anyway) and decorations are gone, and everything can seem quite grey and sad. So, I decided to make a little display of Novemberish things in my room. Josephine made the food, and the Guy Fawkes effigy. Rachel and I brought sparklers. We met Spring, Lars' lovely wife. It was really a magical evening! Josephine's wee Guy Fawkes. Spring with a sparkler.

Over the Sea to Glasgow. Saturday, November 3, 2012. I think I've had more Halloween activities this year than ever before. On the Friday before Halloween there was a dance - for which Josephine and I baked and decorated sugar-cookies. I also went in early (with the Hicks, Josephine, and Trisha Telfer, another YSA girl) to decorate the hall (using Patsy's amazing Halloween decoration collection). The dance itself was OK. I'm not generally a big fan of dances, I'm afraid to admit! Posted by Mairi dhubh.
