The German Pavilion, designed by Mies van der Rohe, was built in 1929 for the International Exposition in Barcelona. It is amongst the most famous buildings of the 20. Century and I now understand why. The town of Figueres does not have much else to visit and you will probably make a special trip to the museum so make sure it is open when you’re going to be there.
