Sunday, 13 June 2010. Been a while since I posted, there is always so much too do around the farm as well as finding time to make art. Of late digging out a pond for water storage, ducks, and drainage has been a priority as hurricane season has begun again. I have quite a few batches of plant fibers to cook up into half stuffs for paper making. I've been letting them dry up and ret on their own to make for a bit less work, hopefuly some will show up in my etsy store before too long :). Please visit often...

Sunday, 19 October 2008. As with many hurricanes the rains both during and in the months following Dolly have left us with significant flooding issues. Although the farm is well above flood level, receiving most of our rain for the year in a very short while has left the ground saturated beyond it's capacity to drain. So off I go on my trusty tractor successfully plowing through the 4-6 foot high grass in multiple passes. As it would happen though just as I was turning she ran out of fuel. Very u...I wan...

Well they are coming back to the shop very soon! There are 4 different new black and red patchy variations;. 1 is a thick, dense, wild, Furry, woolly, long hair, heavy weight wool (seen at the top of image 1 to the left). 4 is a fuzzy, short hair, flexible lighter weight wool (seen at the bottom of image 2).
