Several Exhibits tell the story of the Makah Tribe. The permanent gallery exhibits 300-500 year old artifacts recovered from a Makah village at Ozette, Washington. There are 18 showcases, 3 dioramas and full-sized replicas of canoes and a longhouse. The showcases interpret Makah culture and history through artifacts, text and photographs.

This was my absolute favorite place on our trip! Located in Washington State, at the very northwest tip of the continental United States, it is the home of the Makah Indian Tribe. We visited the Makah Museum. Took TWO hikes in one day,. Bald eagles in this town of about 1500. We made it and it was stunning!
