What’s it like? Indietracks has taken place every year since 2007. It was originally the idea of Stuart Mackay, who worked at the Midland Railway restoring trains and decided to hold an indiepop festival at the site. The first event was in April 2007 and saw three bands and various DJs playing on Butterley Station platform. The festival has since grown into a three-day event with around 50 bands from across the world playing on four stages at the steam railway site. Indietracks Festival, 24-26 July 2015.
