_: Desiring community
http://acts918.blogspot.com/2007/06/desiring-community.html
Wednesday, June 6, 2007. You know, we all talk a big talk.I do that! But I truly want to keep an ongoing theme here. What is it to live IN community? Last week we had a car wash for the students going to camp and one student wanted to go to the movies afterward. I asked if one student had seen the movie and he replied, "Yeah.three times! I hope that I can do less talking in the months ahead and do more acting and being IN community with my fellow brothers and sisters. Looking forward to what the Holy...

Tuesday, August 21, 2007. This just bothers me. Is this with complete patience and teaching or just shaming and guilt? Links to this post. I wish I would have taken a picture of this but I did not. This past Saturday myself and a handful of others orchestrated a garage sale in order to raise money for a new missional outreach called the Alvin Toiletry Giveaway. I saw this full dumpster before leaving the property and it made me feel GREAT! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Friday, February 2, 2007. At the gathering of the Ecclesia Clear Lake, on January 28, 2007, Jack Wisdom from Ecclesia-Taft spoke. The following are words and phrases that might make a little more sense on where I feel God is truly leading us as individuals walking the “Christian walk” in this localized geographic area south of Houston, Texas. He warned us right off the bat that we should watch out for people that say there are only two types of people! Mark 1:15 Jesus states “ for the kingdom of Go...

_: A full dumpster

Tuesday, August 21, 2007. I wonder how many recycling bins you filled, and how many bags of second-hand-stuff was donated to charity shops. Owenology: July 2007
http://owenology.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 21, 2007. More than 40 years ago, there was a similar group of individuals the entire world looked up to. They were pilots, engineers, and scientists turned pioneers, explorers, and heroes. The original seven astronauts were admired by all. Despite our current focus on stars shaving their heads, professional athletes doping, and the latest iPod (don't get me wrong, I'm a giant Apple. Suni Williams running the Boston Marathon on the ISS. Owenology: November 2008
http://owenology.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 13, 2008. Is it really mid-November? Where has 2008 gone? We were hoping that October would be a slower month than it's predecessor, but after Jeremy's triathlon, our garage sale, the NKOTB concert (you didn't mis-read that), airshow weekend, birthday parties, Halloween, and Jeremy working a gazillion hours preparing for STS-126, October was just as crazy. But no natural disasters, so no complaints. Enjoy the pics from October! Jeremy and the boys after Try-Andy's-Tri. Check back soon ...

Owenology: April 2009
http://owenology.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 13, 2009. A little video clip from our time in CO! How can we possibly bring you up to speed on the past 4 months? I'm ashamed to admit this is a record for us- the longest we've gone without blogging about our sweet Audrey! Perhaps it's because she keeps us SO busy during the day that we can't bear the thought of having to do anything productive in the evenings? Jeremy turned 30 on 1/16 - woohoo! Her little brain is working on overdrive. She has been repeating us for a while now, and thank...
