http://growinggodsgifts.blogspot.com/2012/03/calm-in-morning.html
Thursday, March 1, 2012. Calm in the Morning. Is this how you feel some mornings? I don't know how your mornings typically are but mine tend to be a little hectic and I tend to be a little not too thrilled to be up! Soooo what to do? Last night I took just 10 minutes and laid out the kids clothes and Ironed for Bryan. Just by doing those two little things my morning went much smoother. Imagine if I had set the coffee, made lunch's and prepared the kids backpacks! Unto thee, and will look up. I recently c...

Growing God's Gifts: Discouragement
http://growinggodsgifts.blogspot.com/2011/03/discouragement.html
Friday, March 4, 2011. Motivation like a deadly snakebite. He whispers in our ear. You are small, Look at the amazing things others are doing, why even bother, there's. Nothing that hasn't already been done. Almost 3o now, life is passing. face reality there are many better than you, you are not original. Then I hear the quiet whisper of the spirit of God . You can make a difference for me. All the little things DO matter. Don't forget my word. 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".

Growing God's Gifts: May 2010

Saturday, May 15, 2010. If anyone is familiar with the beloved Wegmans of upstate New York, you undoubtedly have heard this phrase! Strive For Five is the grocery chain's logo that encourages shoppers to eat atleast five cups of fruits and vegetables a day, and thus buy more food from them! We say nothing, ofcourse! Five minutes a day is not much time at all. Most preschooler's attention spans are about that long, so it's perfect. Let's think for a moment about what we spend 5 minutes of our day ...Watch...

Friday, June 11, 2010. I was "THAT MOM" with "THAT KID"! Our trip to the Library). I had the motherly privilege. Of being "THAT MOM" with "THAT KID" the other day at the library. It is always a memorable and humbling experience. I know because I have been "THAT MOM" on more than one occasion over the past few years. LOL. I had already told Mike we were going. I couldn't back out now! Why did I sell that old umbrella stroller at the garage sale for 1. oo. What was I thinking? Mike was good. His rank h...

Growing God's Gifts: August 2011
http://growinggodsgifts.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 22, 2011. The kids and I stood on our front porch taking in the fresh air and watching the downpour of rain. The thunder was loud and the storm was right above us. It was exciting! Suddenly lightning struck the tree in between our house and our neighbor's. It sounded like a car bomb went off and I could feel the vibration in my chest. We all jumped and clung to each other in fear as we darted inside! Bless the Lord oh my soul! GOD IS BIGGER than (fill in the blank). View my complete profile.

http://growinggodsgifts.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 23, 2010. I know I haven't blogged in a while. The summer had gotten busy lately. We had a family reunion to attend as well as a wedding, an army ceremony up at Fort Drum, a trip to my cousin's campsite, a big get together with old friends (that included all of our 16 children! And I'm sure there's more that I forgot to mention. I also have been babysitting more which has been great for my kids! Well, minus that one little toad that the dog ate! The bin was even included! The kids have hau...

Okay, so I went to this homeschooling convention last week and I think the name should "The parenting Convention" instead! So in no specific order here is a list of some things I learned at the convention. I am sure that I can not give justice to all the things I actually soaked in this weekend! 1 Everyone has distractions. 2 Children thrive on routine. 3 Extra activities = Extra problems. It cost about ...

There was an error in this gadget. Sunday, November 23, 2008. Let's not kid ourselves. That little indulgence, the small undercurrent of bitterness, the well-masked dislike of our neighbor-are these really such a big deal? God, who is both loving and holy, will not allow us to continue the abuse for long. Sooner or later the weight of unrepentant sin presses down heavily upon us. If we aren't ready to deal with the sin, we are going to look everywhere else for an explanation about that pressing. Are they...

My life for Yours: Family Traditions
http://crosscenteredlives.blogspot.com/2013/01/family-traditions.html
There was an error in this gadget. Tuesday, January 8, 2013. When I think about Christmas I think of family, friends and my Saviors birth. I also think about new ways to make it more memorable for my children. Last year we began a new family tradition. We took a drive to Williamsburg Va. to visit the Christmas Mouse. And The Yankee Candle Factory. We told the boys that they can choose one special ornament within the family theme. My husband "picked" an apple. Go figure, he's a teacher! There was an error...
