a poem a day for a year: three limericks from modern british novel
http://apoemadayforayear.blogspot.com/2009/02/three-limericks-from-modern-british.html
A poem a day for a year. Monday, February 2, 2009. Three limericks from modern british novel. Today's is the rich red of cabernet wine. Dotted with dollops of salt strained from brine. Furled and furrowed, each ruffle. Like a viennese truffle. And tied tight enough to halt passage of time. Humans are cruel by nature," says the girl over there,. Setting her jaw against the pastoral air. The tin-pail plash at tess's milking station. Echoes the melancholy of predestination:. Guy in green, nodding off.

http://apoemadayforayear.blogspot.com/2009/02/why-m-carries-nail-file-in-her-purse.html
A poem a day for a year. Saturday, February 14, 2009. Why m carries a nail file in her purse. Once i was flying. I was flying in a plane eating yogurt. I was flying in a plane eating yogurt. It got on my pants. I was on a plane. Yogurt splat all over my pants. Her voice is as pretty as annie druyan's. My friends are rolling in a rocket ship. The sky is a crepuscular prepubescent and the city's so happy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Get more of us. Why m carries a nail file in her purse.

Shoulda woulda coulda put a ring on it. I ask, you say no. You think you can find better. Oh silly boy, boo. That was dick, guy. Panty-toucher: i'm short, and. You get mildewed clothes. This one's about swing dancing and learning that i will probably always have to take the lead for the rest of my life.

a poem a day for a year: hiatus
http://apoemadayforayear.blogspot.com/2009/02/hiatus.html
A poem a day for a year. Friday, February 20, 2009. We are taking a short hiatus in order to unsnarl some kinks in our big, messy, busy lives. Haven't you noticed a decline in the quality of our writings in recent weeks? We will resume with day-counting, when we feel ready, as if nothing had happened. This is okay because we make the rules. Labels: not a poem. Whereever will I go for my daily dose of poetic ear tickling? February 21, 2009 at 6:14 PM. I will not let you forget! February 22, 2009 at 3:09 PM.

the fruit bat sauvage: prometheus' daughter
http://fruitbatsauvage.blogspot.com/2008/12/prometheus-daughter.html
The fruit bat sauvage. Verbal and visual miscellany. Monday, December 15, 2008. As i crossed my legs. And watched ruin arise. Eyelashes bat easily,. Scaring moths from the fabric. Of your lungs, keeping me. In the cold i noticed my knees,. Crooked in the shadow of skirts. My blind hands, small and scared. Can't make fire from sandpaper,. Still shaken from the echo of locks. Down empty hallways,. Still bent to the angles of elbow. And hip, your jawbone's downward turn. Spread unapologetic on the pavement.

the fruit bat sauvage: ballpoint
http://fruitbatsauvage.blogspot.com/2008/12/ballpoint.html
The fruit bat sauvage. Verbal and visual miscellany. Tuesday, December 16, 2008. As i print letters. On water color paper. He strings veins and lungs. With flicks of the wrist. Now the canvas has a nervous system. Now i can see it beating, patient,. He and canvas shoulder. The vibrating weight of color:. Red, brazen, slick. And glaring, strokes like slaughter,. Under my hand, black ink. Settles quietly into off-white. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Here, there, everywhere. View my complete profile.

things and things: Day 2: Breckenridge // Red Rocks
http://kallietiffault.blogspot.com/2009/08/day-2-breckenridge-red-rocks.html
Mostly: photos, clouds, dreams / sometimes: scattered thoughts. Sunday, August 23, 2009. Day 2: Breckenridge / Red Rocks. The architecture in this town looks like a story book. Excuse me can I take a picture of your dog? Then we went up the mountain. Mmmmmmmm. Then we went to Red Rocks, which is INSANELY BEAUTIFUL ALSO, to see this great Beatles tribute band called "1964: A Tribute". It was so great, except we had to walk up about a million stairs to get to our seats. But again, worth it.

things and things: 2010
http://kallietiffault.blogspot.com/2010/01/2010.html
Mostly: photos, clouds, dreams / sometimes: scattered thoughts. Tuesday, January 12, 2010. Here are some of my new years resolutions:. Read a book a month. Watch a new movie every week (failing already but it's ok). Make 10 shorts before 2011. Come up with 10 new ideas every week, I don't have to go through with them but I have to think of them (this one is starting out VERY difficult! But I'm glad I'm forcing myself to do it. I've thought of some neat things so far.). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
