Life's simple truths. Monthly Archives: August 2013. August 29, 2013. My palms have developed sores from casting the net and coming out empty. I am discouraged, at the verge of packing and leaving. I’m worried of what will become of me. Why do I try so hard and get out empty? Or why do I catch stones instead of fish? I cannot explain what just happened. I can see the sun pushing through the clouds. Its finally daybreak, the night is over. I have caught more fish than I have any other night.
