My Life. As Makenzie. Wednesday, April 15, 2015. The first month just flew by. I still cant believe we have two kids. At 1 month Hazel. Smiles all the time. Looked at me and smiled huge on 01-01-15). Does a cute little laugh/chuckle (usually when sleeping). Is a really good eater and eats every 2-3 hours. LOVES to be swaddled and can't/won't sleep unless she is. Was in preemie diapers for a little while then newborn. Really strong, just like Haddie, was holding her head up right away. Loves to be held.

I cannot come to terms that she is already two. It makes me so sad that she is growing up so fast. Because this would be Hadley's last birthday as an only child, we wanted to make it special. Yep, that's right, HAWAII! Boogie Boarding on some of the most beautiful beaches (one with completely clear water). Playing volleyball and watching the sun set. Laying on the beach, feeling sand between the toes and the sun's hot rays heating our skin. Falling fast asleep after a fun filled day in the sun.

Monday, September 16, 2013. I got this recipe from a close friend and adapted it to make it a bit healthier by using turkey instead of ground beef. I also used store bought BBQ sauce instead of making it from scratch. (It is more appetizing than the picture, I promise.). 3 lbs ground turkey. 1 (13 oz) can evaporated milk. 1 1/2 tsp salt. BBQ Sauce (I prefer Sweet Baby Ray's Original). Turkey Meatball minus the BBQ - 113 calories, 7.3 g fat, 8.5 g protein. Wednesday, September 4, 2013. 1 cup quick oats.
