Where the power from the battery would flow to the board by one of two ways:. 2) a transistor, which is controlled by digital pin on the microcontroller. Main page=product info&products id=355. I need to utilize a Trinket Pro. Which is fine, because the product itself is a pretty affordable $10, and it packs pretty much to same punch as an Arduino Uno. TrinketPro… a little small, but packs an Uno punch! I ordered one from the hackaday store. The challenge was programming it. There were three challenges. December 22, 2014.

A return to creating…. Getting started with the ESP8266. May 11, 2015. So I purchased a few $5 (or less) Wifi chips off of ebay, the ESP8266. It has taken the maker world a little by storm, as it makes is super cheap to get wifi into a project. You can use it as a standalone microprocessor, but to start I wanted just to use it as a serial communications to connect to a webpage. Step 1: Get the comms working. Type in AT, and there it was: OK. Step 2: Talk to the chip. Step 2: Learn about the ESP. AT RST r...

A return to creating…. Replacing the Uno with the TrinketPro. December 23, 2014. Now that I have the TrinketPro working fine, and have the sketch and prototyped circuit for the bag movement alarm project using an Uno, I wanted to replace the Uno with the TrinketPro. There were a few small changes,. Uploaded the sketch to the TrinketPro, put it on the breadboard, and moved the jumper wires to the right pins on the TrinketPro instead of the Uno. It didn’t work. To be specific, the sketch works fine. Gettin...

MAKER's EDGe WACO Day by Day
MAKER's EDGe WACO Day by Day. A brief look into the mad, mad world of the makerspace startup. Monday, December 15, 2014. Let's talk tools :). Today's room is the one that I have the most experience in, and conversely, is most exciting to me: The Wood Shop:. The wood shop houses some of the more traditional tools that you would be familiar with: a Craftsman compound miter saw, sander, planer, joiner, scroll saw and drill press. Most of these tools (than the saw) will come from Ryobi. Or drop in for a look.
