A space with no obligation to fill. January 11, 2008. Posted by Jenny under books. I’m feeling remarkably unemployed today so here’s some stuff I’m up to instead of being a productive member of society…. Monday, January 14th at 7:30 pm, I’ll be reading at the Concord Cafe. 937 Bloor Street W. near the Ossington Subway) for the launch of the latest issue of Misunderstandings Magazine. Readers include Alex Boyd, Leigh Nash and Josh Stewart. I have been busy reviewing too. My thoughts on Soucouyant. You are...

A space with no obligation to fill. October 6, 2007. I wish i was). Posted by Jenny under Uncategorized. October 4, 2007. Posted by Jenny under Uncategorized. I’ve been doing quite a lot of reading on Kristeva’s idea of the abject body and abject fiction. I haven’t been able to afford the full copy of Powers of Horror (blaming this on Ryerson here! A space with no obligation to fill. November 6, 2007. Posted by Jenny under Uncategorized. We’re being filtered as Canadians? It’s hard to ignore the possible implications. Will we have “Canadian Google” in the same way that China has it’s own pre-filtered version? In who’s best interests is it to block a Labour Union site? Who will decide what is blocked and what is left for our delicate Canadian sensibilities? Is it the government’s job? Is this a job? November 4, 2007. Anyway, this isn’t a review.

And listening. I’ll come back to it when the fever of advice absorbs a bit! September 19, 2007. Drum circle. no. really. Posted by Jenny under Uncategorized. September 17, 2007. Notes toward an idea.

A space with no obligation to fill. December 30, 2007. Posted by Jenny under Uncategorized. I don’t know who still reads this blog. i’ve been sleeping so i stopped typing away into the ether. All this sleeping means I’m dreaming, dreaming. I’ve always been prone to vivid, intense, memory-locked dreams. Last night i was in an airport. All manner of corridors. All people who look like people i know. Turtles all the way down. A space with no obligation to fill. Blog at WordPress.com.
