Breathe Gently: April 2015
http://www.breathegently.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Introducing homehello: a review. This morning I was treated to a complimentary 3-hour home clean from a local company, homehello. I love dealing with brands who are easy to work with - and the process for booking a home clean couldn't be simpler. When booking, you simply figure out what size your house is, and you'll be given a good idea of how many hours you'll require for a thorough clean. Add on any extras {window cleaning, etc} and your personal details and that's it; it's booked! If you're looking f...

Breathe Gently: Her Birth - Part I {At Home}
http://www.breathegently.com/2013/04/georgias-birth-part-i-at-home.html
Her Birth - Part I {At Home}. The day I went into labour started out like any other day when you're in your last few weeks of pregnancy. I was tired, huge, peeing constantly and analysing every twinge my body made, wondering if this was a 'sign' of labour impending over the next few weeks. It was the 29th of March: Good Friday. I was 36 weeks 4 days. And so the timing began. Who would I show? My last belly shot taken in week 36 - baby doing lopsided belly gymnastics! Saturday, 13 April 2013. Shes the cut...

Breathe Gently: Waiting for a Period
http://www.breathegently.com/2015/05/waiting-for-period.html
Waiting for a Period. My official test day is today - and unsurprisingly, it's still a BFN. Another failed cycle, no miracles here. Anyway. now we wait. A friend of mine, who is one of the loveliest and strongest people that I have the pleasure to know, put this up as a profile picture this week. I loved it so much that I saved it straight away. I feel like it sums up our journey right now too - and for now, it's all I've got - at least until we get a new plan in place. Friday, 1 May 2015. Get in touch: ...

Breathe Gently: May 2015

IVF #4 - Over and Out. We managed to get 10 eggs at retrieval yesterday, so that was a nice surprise. We were hoping for 6-8, so there must have been some last minute growth over the past few days. Hubby's part of the bargain went positively yesterday and we were told he had a good sample, so they performed regular IVF and not ICSI. We got a text this morning from the clinic with our day 1 fertilisation results. Friday, 29 May 2015. 8226; Labels: Antagonist. IVF #4 - a total crapshoot. Last Thursday: E2 ...

Five Ways the Kids Can Help in the Kitchen: Sponsored Post. Confession time: late afternoon/early evenings in our household are pretty much chaos. It's usually just Georgia and I, and we're both pretty tired - tired, hungry and lacking patience! What works for us one night tends to fall flat the next night, but we'll try anything once. So far, a little snack helps to keep her calm while I scurry around the kitchen. 1 Start at the Grocery Store. The grocery store may be the last place you want to go. ...

Breathe Gently: Lucky vs Unlucky
http://www.breathegently.com/2015/05/lucky-vs-unlucky.html
There's something about getting started on a new cycle that brings about a whole lot of clarity. I always feel more positive and less cynical, and a tiny flutter of hope stirs in my too-often jaded heart. I think it's partially because we are doing something, and moving forward - because waiting around and having no shot at getting pregnant is agony! Of course it does! Does it make us unlucky? And maybe, just maybe, we'll GET lucky this cycle! Sunday, 17 May 2015. Feed You can leave a response. All The I...

Breathe Gently: IVF #4 - Trying Again
http://www.breathegently.com/2015/05/ivf-4-trying-again.html
IVF #4 - Trying Again. I started jabbing with Gonal-F yesterday - surprise! After being told that I would most likely have to go back on the pill and wait for a few weeks before going again, I conveniently got a period the morning of my Synacthen Stimulation Test (the one that was monitoring my adrenal gland function). While we don't have the results of that back yet, my doctor said that we were fine to get started in the meantime - so off we go. Saturday, 16 May 2015. Feed You can leave a response.
