http://www.piwikids.com/2013/03/puddles-water-cycle-model-for-pre-k.html
One Family. Loving, Learning and Traveling.Together. Sunday, March 17, 2013. Preschool Puddles:Easy to make Water cycle model. Mini Piwi had fun learning about the water cycle in a fun and colorful way. A Toddler or Preschooler may not know about Precipitation and Evaporation just yet but, they do know all about puddles! I explained that we were pretending that the pile of colored mini pompoms represent a puddle on the ground. The cotton balls are a cloud in the sky. We’re joining in with these blo...

Ellis Family: Winter Blues
http://kristenanddanellis.blogspot.com/2012/03/winter-blues.html
Tuesday, March 6, 2012. The past few weeks have been a bit difficult for me. I suppose February is a long winter month for a lot of people. What made it long for me though were the terrible headaches I've had everyday. Apparently I clench my jaws a lot (although I can never seem to catch myself doing it! Pom pom balls. These are great for fine motor skills (and good for moms with a headache as they are very quiet! How many lemon drops for Bryan? Friday, March 2 was Dr. Seuss's birthday and Amy wanted...

http://kristenanddanellis.blogspot.com/2012/03/spinning-my-wheels.html
Thursday, March 8, 2012. I have such cute boys who LOVE cars! Aiden sporting his pink convertible! Bryan does this with his popper car all the time! It always makes me laugh! He had already been spinning for a few minutes before I grabbed the camera so he's already dizzy. Posted by Ellis Family. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Homeschool Blogs I Like. Ellis Family: March 2012
http://kristenanddanellis.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 15, 2012. Inspired by this month's theme - Construction - over at Totally Tots. The kids and I have been talking a lot about construction and building things. Kids are naturally interested in bulldozers and backhoes, but having me point things out and talk about them has drawn all three of my little ones' attention. We checked out a few books about construction sites, our favorite being Machines at Work. We've played the construction counting game from Totally Tots. Posted by Ellis Family.

Ellis Family: June 2012
http://kristenanddanellis.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 12, 2012. It's been a busy couple of months and there are many blog posts in my head to catch up on all of our happenings. But for now, I'll just write about what is going on today. I actually followed a pinterest idea. Note to self: Maybe next time I'll make one in Amy's room so that she doesn't feel like the boys wreck it. The boys didn't peel the tape up, but did mess up the signs and stores. Posted by Ellis Family. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Homeschool Blogs I Like. Play At Home Mom LLC.

Ellis Family: December 2012
http://kristenanddanellis.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 28, 2012. Okay, I'm only 2 months late. Halloween was very fun this year. Aiden and Bryan were content to wear the same costumes as last year. Aiden was a giraffe and Bryan was a lion. Amy wanted to be Tinkerbell, which was very easy for us to put together. I threw on Dan's old Army clothes and he put together a biker outfit. He had fun drawing tattoos all over himself! Amy took this picture for us. Amy with some of her friends at the party. Brooklyn, Lindsi, Amy, Savannah. So this year ...

Ellis Family: What You've Missed
http://kristenanddanellis.blogspot.com/2012/09/what-youve-missed.html
Sunday, September 2, 2012. Here's the thumbnail version of all the things I meant to blog about but didn't. Even though this is the short version, it's still about 5 months worth so it's long! It was a pretty cute cake if I say so myself! They loved it too! Aiden and Bryan got their first big haircuts on their birthday. I gave them different hair styles and I found that it greatly reduced the number of twin comments that I got whenever we went out. And here's a pic from my birthday. How much she has grow...

https://allahswonder.wordpress.com/2016/05
May your heart always lean towards Allah, Most Merciful. Ameen. Monthly Archives: May 2016. May 31, 2016. My Dear Sons,. It’s tough. Parenting is tough. T has already been in Dreamland for the last fifteen minutes or so, after insisting that he wants to sleep in my arms. Of course, you also want to sleep in my arms. And then, of course, there’s A as well, who seems to be the least demanding many times. At night, the whole situation is at its worst. It’s tough. It’s FLIPPIN TOUGH! I ended up with A on the...

Life In Every Breath: Emma Joy
http://parvus-unus.blogspot.com/2014/11/emma-joy.html
Friday, November 21, 2014. Emma Joy was born on Wednesday, November 19th a little after 2am. She was 7 lbs, 11oz and 20 inches. I started having contractions on Tuesday evening around 8pm. They were regular but not "call the midwife" worthy. At 10:20 I started freaking out that my parents would not be able to be there because of the nightly ferry shut down, and Jon told me to go ahead and call them, so I did and they got on the last ferry of the night to be sure to be here. Emma means "whole" and she tru...
