Making Friends With Salad. Grown up mac n’ cheese. June 3, 2014. June 3, 2014. Obviously not EVERY meal we have is salad. However I do try to inject colour using veggies for every meal. This is a great example because mac n’ cheese is usually void of such characteristics. Now this is not as healthy as Michelle Obsma’s cauliflower recipe. But it’s worth a share. Basically pick a pasta you like and cook it up. Then add an assortment of veggies. Ours included:. Cooked chicken breast cubed. 2 tbsp of butter.

I use apple sauce because I don’t have a crazy awesome blender that shows apples who’s boss.
