Making Home Food: My FAVORITE Most-Used Knife EVER

http://makinghomefood.blogspot.com/2013/12/my-favorite-most-used-knife-ever.html

Monday, December 16, 2013. My FAVORITE Most-Used Knife EVER. It's a 7-inch hollow-edge Santoku knife. Santoku is just a fancy word for Chef's knife that has a brilliant edge but lays flat to the board (rather than curving). It has become my go-to knife for pretty much everything. Amazon sells it in this lovely set:. Wusthof Classic 2-Piece Asian Santoku and Paring Knife Set. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://makinghomefood.blogspot.com/2015/06/easy-crock-pot-dump-and-eat-taco-soup.html

Tuesday, June 16, 2015. Easy Crock Pot, Dump-and-Eat Taco Soup. I could already tell that today was gonna be one of those get-to-5-o-clock-with-no-dinner-plan days unless I took the bull by the horns. I took the easy way out and dumped all these things in the crock pot and plugged it in. Easy Tasty. No 5 o'clock rush. Win-win-win. Dinner will be ready at the time of my choosing and all I'll have to do is pull out the cheese, tortilla chips, and sour cream. YUM! In the crock pot, dump these ingredients:.

Making Home Food: Pork Stew with Irish Soda Bread

http://makinghomefood.blogspot.com/2013/12/pork-stew-with-irish-soda-bread.html

Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Pork Stew with Irish Soda Bread. These two delicious recipes swirl together to form a perfect meal (and perfect leftovers) for cold winter nights. The stew takes longer than the bread, but they are both worth the time they take. Thanks, Mark, for the mouth-watering Facebook photo that led to the asking for, and giving of, these recipes.). 2-3 oz. thick-cut bacon cut into 1/2-inch pieces. Kosher (preferred) salt and pepper. 1 yellow onion, coarsely chopped (about 1 cup).

Twins, Treats, and Taking Your Time: June 2013

Twins, Treats, and Taking Your Time. The adventures, mishaps, and musings of a mother of twin toddlers. Friday, 28 June 2013. Loving according to your Personality. I'll admit, I don't always react well to these spats, or to the occasional tantrums, or to putting the clothes in the bathroom waiting to go into the laundry into the freshly run bath. Or to the porridge in the hair, the strawberries in the shoes, the toast down the cushion of the sofa. Like anyone else, I have plenty of aspects of my characte...

Can You Eat This?: Spaghetti Casserole

http://canyoueatthis.blogspot.com/2013/02/spaghetti-casserole.html

Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Not really spaghetti, it's that casserole one, the one you LIKE! So, here is Gram's (daddy's favorite) spaghetti casserole! 1 lb ground beef. 2 cans diced tomatoes. Some chopped onion and/or bell pepper, whatever you like. 1 small can chopped black olives (you can leave it out if you hate them. Hubby hates them though and he's ok with them in this recipe. They blend well.). 1 small can mushrooms. 2 tsp italian seasoning. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions.

Can You Eat This?: Welcome! II

http://canyoueatthis.blogspot.com/2008/12/welcome-ii.html

Wednesday, December 31, 2008. So, hi everyone. I am Kristen, also known around as Shoeaddict (and sometimes just Shoe). I am from south Louisiana and most of my recipes come from my mom or grandmother. I really love to eat, try new foods, go out to eat at different restaurants (and old favorites) and all of that so, hopefully, I'll have something to add. Come sit by me and we can talk about our love of the French Fry. I dream of them sometimes. Truly. January 1, 2009 at 9:30 PM. January 1, 2009 at 9:54 PM.

Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Hello, I am Dana! I think I am the new girl here.I just started blogging in August of this year. Friday, August 14, 2009. Beach House Breakfast Lasagna. This is not my recipe at all- I always wonder if I should post things that I make if I have nothing to do with their origins. :) But I was saying on facebook how good it was and some people asked for the recipe, so I am posting it. It's Jennifer Cinquepalmi's, from her gluten free cookbook that I pink puffy heart. 1 lb ham, cut into bite-size pieces. 16 slices Swiss cheese. Can You Eat This?: Gluten Free Favorites

http://canyoueatthis.blogspot.com/2013/06/gluten-free-favorites.html

Wednesday, June 5, 2013. I have a friend who wants to go gluten free and was asking me about brands and favorite recipes. She asked for my top five go-to recipes. Great question- never really thought about it before! I'm going to start with brands while I contemplate meals. Keep in mind I'm a tiny little food blogger with my own opinions. None of these are paid or anything like that. I'd certainly be open to the idea if anybody wants to provide me with stuff to review though! Is pretty good but you do ha...

http://canyoueatthis.blogspot.com/2008/12/welcome.html

Tuesday, December 30, 2008. I don't want to step on any toes. And why Can You Eat This? My family has tons of food allergies. We find ourselves asking each other that question all the time. Can you eat this? So For the first few posts, let's all tell a little bit about ourselves- what kind of food do you like to cook, who are you cooking for, and what other parameters are you working with? I'll start. Because I Am The Boss. At least for this post. Shut up. I AM. My focus is mostly going to be on gluten-f...

Two kids a newborn leaves you very little time to do anything but the basics.like dishes, laundry, cleaning the toilet, bathing sweet little squirmy bodies, nursing, etc. I did want to take a minute and share that our Heavenly Father is so faithful and gracious! Just thought I'd share! Now here's some pictures of all of my cuties! Amos James at two weeks old.
