Friday, February 19, 2010. Well, it's official, my husband loves me more than any husband loves his wife ever. it's true. For valentine's day. i couldn't believe it and sorta freaked out. ok, that's another side of my nerdy-ness. oh well. now, some of you might be thinking, "man. rookie mistake. getting your wife a vacuum for valentine's day is like saying ' here. the house is a little dirty, clean it up" not at all! I have my time back! It's not like i'm going to just not vacuum! People who inspire me.

Friday, February 19, 2010. Soi found these amazing shoes at anthropologie. i would love to have both the blue ones and the purple ones. But i'll probably end up getting these which are also awesome because they are only 60 vs the 150 each that the blue and purple ones are. . and im' not that bold with my shoes and want to get a pair that i can wear with anything. Monday, October 7, 2013. New door handles on the cheap! Last year we moved. It was a really good move for us. Moving is always kind of a funny thing. It's like moving into someone else's house. You really got to take a season and make it your own. Granted, they aren't all perfect and I did touch them up with a sharpie too. I did however do the math and for the 10 doors I had to do, the cost for just going out and getting new fixtures, would've been $400. I spent a mere 14 on spray paint. woo!

Wednesday, May 23, 2012. This afternoon, my sister played me a video on youtube. and thus, I found my new favorite band. it was like the big bang- explosion of love. They are from Australia (man, they have some rockin' music, and damn talented artists), and from what I 've collected, fairly new (a few years old I believe? But already they've put a stamp on the music world as a super cool, beautiful eclectic sound. They are described as having an "african-inspired dreamy folk pop" sound. perfect.

Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Luna Lovegood is one of my favorite characters in the HP movies and books, so I loved doodling her! Thursday, May 31, 2012. S'more art, and HOW IS EVERYONE? Just some artwork I've been trying to really get into, y'know? This is Eva Nine, from Tony DiTerlizzi's amazing series The Search for Wondla. It was originally a scene from a book, but then I decided to try out some photoshop-ness and I kinda like the outcome! I'm getting so much into fanart, and artwork. It's seeming to click, and it's just great fun : )! Meanwhile, I am almost finished (and by that I mean the rough copy) with my first novel ever!
