Making my garden grow

Money spent so far. Sunday, January 6, 2013. In the hope that desire will lead to action. Anyway, seeds I have left over from last year:. Hopefully) edible the following year. Flowers July to October. So I need to buy potatoes, squash, and tomatoes. Saturday, December 29, 2012. This year I'm going to focus on the produce I really enjoyed and try some new varieties. Turnips are out (they make that end of the garden smell like turnip and I really hated it) and I'm not going to bother with leeks, onions or ...

Making my garden grow: October 2012

http://makingmygardengrow.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html

Money spent so far. Sunday, October 21, 2012. We had an unexpectedly nice day today so I got outside to do a little pottering around and general tidying. I have two artichokes which could probably be eaten but I've decided to let them flower instead. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). When I'm not working in the garden (or for a living) I design knitting patterns for cuddly toys. You can find me at my other blog browneyedbabs knits. Or follow me on Pinterest. Making my garden grow: September 2012

http://makingmygardengrow.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html

Money spent so far. Sunday, September 23, 2012. It's been a while. A combination of terrible weather and first trimester exhaustion has kept me out of the garden for months but today we finally got a dry weekend when I had energy and no other plans so I could get outside at last. One had little holes in it and a slug nearby so it went into the compost too. There are still a few healthy looking turnips in the ground which I hope will last over the winter. Making my garden grow: December 2011

http://makingmygardengrow.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

Money spent so far. Friday, December 30, 2011. I've decided that I really do want to grow more vegetables of my own next year (rather than just growing the odd few things in pots like last year). I love growing food - much more satisfying than flowers. For Christmas I got lots of gardening books in preparation:. Grow Your Food for Free (Well Almost). The Edible Garden: How to Have Your Garden and Eat It. Pocket Guide to the Edible Garden: What To Do And When, Month By Month. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Making my garden grow: Thinking about 2013

http://makingmygardengrow.blogspot.com/2012/12/thinking-about-2013.html

Money spent so far. Saturday, December 29, 2012. I can't believe it has been a year since I started growing my own food. I've learned a lot in the past year and I plan to make some changes for next year.Last year I grew too much of lots of things and too many different things (2012 plan). This year I'm going to focus on the produce I really enjoyed and try some new varieties. Turnips are out (they make that end of the garden smell like turnip and I really hated it) and I'm not going to bother with leeks,...

Making my garden grow: July 2012

http://makingmygardengrow.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html

Money spent so far. Sunday, July 29, 2012. We are still having weather that is winter one day and summer the next so I decided to make soup this weekend using a turnip I have been eyeing up for a while. It was much bigger than anything I'd have bought and with some of last weekend's potato harvest, an onion, some carrots and lentils I made a huge pot of soup and felt very pleased with my industry. Sunday, July 22, 2012. And carried them from place to place. I forgot to photograph my harvest but I filled ...

Making My Fairy Tale

Making My Fairy Tale. Our Fairy Tale Wedding. Monday, February 27, 2012. The Joy of Alex and Ani. I'd like to take this time to write about a new product that I LOVE! I was turned onto this line of jewelry from a co-worker and I am so glad she told me about it! All of the jewelry is infused with positive energy as well. I was going to try and paraphrase how they do it but I think their website says it best. ALEX AND ANI – POSITIVE ENERGY. Inspired by the wisdom of ancient thinkers, Alex and Ani researche...

Thursday, April 16, 2015. Atonement Study, Part 1. Z and I decided for our scripture study as a couple that we would study the Atonement for a while. This is a topic I've wanted to become more familiar with, so I'm excited for the new direction. I don't know if I'll post all of my thoughts here as we study, but these ones were particularly poignant and I thought they were worth sharing. Tonight we read from Mosiah, chapter 3. And even if it were possible that little. For behold, and also his. By the tran...

something glorious is about to happen

Something glorious is about to happen. Agosto 25, 2013. Novembro 2, 2012. Fevereiro 26, 2012.
