She came to cut Kate's hair but Kate claims we never tell her anything(which somehow is always the truth, not sure how we always forget :-) , so Kate made plans to go to Nashville to see Phil. Sunday, September 9, 2012. It's Starting to Feel Like Fall! We've had a free weekend this weekend, so it's been nice to have some time to get the house ready for fall! I LOVE Fall and this year I'm sooooo ready for it after the LONG summer we've had this year. Did I already say I LOVE Fall? This came from Hobby Lobby a couple years ago. I still love it! I never decorate outside so it was fun to go with Brian this year and pick out our mums and pumpkins together. Definitely need to make it a tradition.

Friday, June 1, 2012. I had some gift cards to burn at Pottery Barn and found this cute black iron baskets. So of course I had to have an excuse to entertain and who better with than my bridal party! So I invited all the girls over for brunch and we had a great time. It's always so fun to get everyone together and I hope to make it a yearly tradition. I went with all white and blacks for my colors to keep it real classic and chic. The food was mini pancakes, egg quiches, orange rolls and fruit cups.

Wednesday, May 30, 2012. So I have been awful at keeping this blog up to date. I apparently average a post once every three months! Haha Brian and Brent turned 35 on the May 19th and I threw them a John Deere themed birthday. They were a little skeptical at first and still felt like it should be more geared towards a 5 year old's party but they secretly liked it all in the end. haha. The cups were mini mason jars all wrapped in burlap and tied in the back. They were all labeled with a 35 on the front.

Whit and Kate's California spring break was nearing its end, so we spent their last night in San Diego at our local favorite Coyote Grill. They have the best pork tacos! Monday, July 19, 2010. 2nd Annual Huber Cousins Retreat. So this weekend we made the trek out to Fort Wayne for the 2nd annual Huber Cousins lake weekend retreat. We all pile into a lake house(kids and all) and spend the weekend talking, playing games, TONS of eating, boating/jet skiing and just all around having a great time. It's a tradition that I hope we keep up for a long time. He is a lot of things but two things he is not fond of are lots of events on his calendar and not getting enough sleep!
