Making the Two One - Part 3. Monday, 25 January 2010. Because That's The Way It Is. I've been watching Dancing on Ice. The TV show where celebrities are paired off with professional ice skaters who then compete to be ice dance champions. In the first show after the audience voted for their favourite contestant, Sharron Davies. This raises an important question - why do we love? I have observed people love for two reasons. There are those who love you for no apparent reason at all. We are all loveable.

Making the Two One - Part 3. Friday, 26 February 2010. Within an hour I received a "Posterous February Newsletter" via email which Y used to subscribe to; and I thought of him. A few minutes later, I received a private message from Facebook friend X recommending that I watch a video by someone who had the first name as my former Facebook friend Y. Hmmm, there seems to be a pattern emerging here. :-). The interesting thing is my ex-boyfriend had the same first name as Facebook friend Y. The All in Me.

I have observed that although people are willing to help, most people won't offer help unless they're asked, as they don't want to impose. The wonderful thing, I find, about asking for help is it's rather like dialing 999 for the ambulance, police or fire brigade. You're given top priority. In no time at all, I was having sweet dreams. Don't ask me how it happened! Don't know, don't care!

Even though I have no problem connecting with "strangers" I meet every day, as I believe everyone is my "friend" anyway, there are many ways I find to reach people or for people to reach me. I call them Love Bridges. Here are a few. Another love bridge is admiring what people are wearing or carrying. It only takes a brief "Love your scarf! Young kids are excellent love bridges as they are naturally friendly and speak to anyone. Love is all there is.
