Monday, February 9, 2015. Branding for my photoblog. I've had that love/hate fun with re-branding/rebooting my brand for Studio Britt. It's hard to get past each creative roadblock, but once you do you feel great! I love the direction my new logo went. i initially had my sister sketch out some ideas since she's brilliant with sketching typography and i'm more of a digital cat. her handwritten type for studio. Led me to find this sweet font. i love it! I'd love to know what you think! I win valentines day.

Thursday, December 4, 2014. Color of the year! Hello earthy, wine-colored pick! I knew i liked burgundy for fall and winter, but i'm excited about the possibilities to use it all year long. i know the color of the year is a silly thing, but when you're a creative-brained person, it's like getting a present. ;). Pantone says marsala pairs well with sandstone and classic blue. both of which aren't my go-to choices. it's fun, stretching yourself this way. Wednesday, December 3, 2014. What's not to love.

I'm serious. i had post partum depression with both my girls and have had at least a low level depression for as long as i can remember. i'm a two scoops of emotion kind of lady. So i would say that i have gone very far down the depression research rabbit hole and i have never come across the words vitamin d deficiency. There's actually something still wrong! I was so excited to try it out and figured it would be super easy to turn my handwriting into calligraphy with just the flick of a nib {that’s the technical term for the metal pieces that go in the pens – not to be confused with my go-to treat, the twizzler nib}. Friday, August 7, 2015. Awww this little honey is 11 months old. Almost 1. I'm gonna go cry now. Still sporting some pretty serious thigh rolls. Also the fangs are getting bigger. Our two front teeth are coming though. She loves giving hugs and snuggles. She can say mama, loves scarfing all the food, and can walk behind her walking toys.
