In between goals is a thing called life, that has to be lived and enjoyed. Monday, October 28, 2013. Such a lovely view! I was very impressed with this guy. I have never seen someone like this in NYC and that is saying something. These globes were surrounding the Boston Commons area. I don't know what they were for, but I really liked them! Starting our journey walking the Freedom Trail. Of course we went through a couple of cemeteries. It is such a peaceful place to be. Friday, October 18, 2013. My favo...

In between goals is a thing called life, that has to be lived and enjoyed. Thursday, August 21, 2014. Strom King Art Center - New York. Went to the Storm King Art Center. I had never heard of this before I had gone, but it is about an hour away from NYC and has small to large sculptures just chilling outside that you can walk around and see. I really enjoyed the scenery and some of interesting pieces of art. I liked this sculpture. This is actually made of wood and really cool close up. At Home and Abroad.

nycmakeuplover : January Empties
http://nycmakeuplover1.blogspot.com/2013/02/january-empties.html
Blog about all things makeup and beauty related from a girl enjoying life in NYC. Sunday, February 3, 2013. Bath and Body Works. I finished up 4 large candles. Peach Bellini and Peppermint Mocha were my favorites and I would repurchase them. I love all things Vanilla Bean Noel during the winter and would repurchase anything in that scent again. I used the Country Chic body butter for my feet at night. It was just ok and I don't really love the scent. Again since it isn't expensive. Their Beauty Elixir.

In between goals is a thing called life, that has to be lived and enjoyed. Thursday, May 29, 2014. NYC - Empire Hotel. Inside the lobby of the Empire Hotel. I decided to have a little staycation for a night just for a little something different. The style of the hotel is very masculine, but the beds were comfy and we had a good view. The only problem is that the bathrooms are tiny! If you want to be able to get ready in your bathroom not going to happen! View from the roof top. View from the street.

In between goals is a thing called life, that has to be lived and enjoyed. Sunday, February 3, 2013. Hockey - New Jersey Devils. I went to my first HOCKEY GAME! I have wanted to go for awhile, but never got around to it so I was really excited to finally go. The game was in Jersey so we were at the Devils stadium and the Devils lost by one in overtime. I actually stayed for the whole game and really enjoyed it. That is a first for me. The suite we were in. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Nicole's 30 Before 30.

In between goals is a thing called life, that has to be lived and enjoyed. Saturday, January 3, 2015. Staycation in Utah - The Grand America. While I was in Utah I decided very last minute to have a little staycation for a night at The Grand America hotel in Salt Lake City, UT. I would love to have the money to stay at more fancy hotels in New York, but that just isn't going to be happening too often because they cost a fortune! Front of the hotel. The lobby of the hotel. I have noticed that at hotels th...

In between goals is a thing called life, that has to be lived and enjoyed. Saturday, January 26, 2013. Hotel de Glace - Ice Hotel. Over MLK weekend some friends and I headed up to Quebec City in Canada to stay at Hotel de Glace. They said they have workers working 24 hours a day to get this done and it cost almost 4 million dollars this year to build. It also uses enough water to fill 25 Olympic swimming pools or make 100,000 snowmen. This picture is into the entrance of the rooms. This was the third roo...

In between goals is a thing called life, that has to be lived and enjoyed. Thursday, December 13, 2012. Oasis of the Seas. I had the wonderful experience of going on another cruise! Only time I seem to be able to get out of the United States. We sailed on the Oasis of the Seas the largest cruise liner out there. This ship cost 1.4 billion dollars I just can't imagine that sum of money and how long it will take them to make that money back. Central Park" according to the Oasis of the Seas. While we were s...
