The Makusue Race Team. The Makusue Ski and Sport Club has our own race team that competes with The Eastern Inter-Club Ski League (EICSL). The league is comprised of skiers and riders of all abilities. Even if you are just starting out in skiing, you can give it a try and they will place you with the right class. For the past three years, the Makusue Team has taken home the most awards and each year we strive to add to the pile! Pre-season warm-up race in December (weather permitting) on a NASTAR course.

The 3-story lodge has 21 bunkrooms, and at full capacity, it can sleep a total of 67 people. Each bunkroom has 2 to 4 beds. In addition to having 5 full bathrooms, each bunkroom has a sink. Bedrooms are segregated by gender. The common areas of the club include:. A large gathering room/dining area. A complete kitchen, with an adjoining serving room. A fireplace-equipped living room. Cable TV, stereo, and wi-fi access. Basement for ski and board tuning and repairs.

Full Membership has a one time $50 initiation fee and is $480 for the 2016-17 year. To be eligible for Full Membership, you must stay at the Lodge at least three (3) organized weekends to get a chance to meet the membership. You must be single (unmarried) and over 21. In doing this, we work with a lot of kitchen islands and peninsulas that people will eventually sit at. This has caused a situation that I can no longer ignore. When figuring a countertop overhang for people to sit at, we generally like to have 12" of legroom. However, space constraints sometimes require that we shrink that space a bit.
