http://kakkilaya.blogspot.com/2008_06_08_archive.html

Saturday, June 14, 2008. Chikungunya: Untreatable or Treatment Unnecessary? Chikungunya has at last reached Dakshina Kannada (DK) with hundreds of cases reported from Sullia, Puthur and Belthangady taluks. The health authorities, as usual, seem confused and are making every possible effort to spread the confusion in the community. If chikungunya is a self-limiting illness, where is the need to supply life-saving drugs? What are these drugs? Nor the National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme. Chikung...

Monday, May 14, 2012. Cartoon Row: Insult to Ambedkar and our Constitution. The cartoon that raised the hackles of some of the members of parliament was created by Shankar, in 1949. If the central characters in the cartoon, Nehru and Ambedkar, were Bharat Ratnas, the creator Shankar Pillai, was a Padma Vibhushan, India's second highest civilian honour and was considered as the father of political cartooning in India. Musings from Mangaluru: 01 February 2009

http://kakkilaya.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html

The Moral terrorists could tie the hands of the artists and kite flyers, but can creativity be cowed down by brute force? This episode is just one of the many examples of the counter productive and destructive results of the foolish ideology of Hind...
