Malawi Foundation for General Civic Education is a multi-objective organisation in areas of Human Rights, Democracy, Good Governance. Gender is streamlined within these lines/areas. MFGCE has carried a number of activities since inception in 1999 with funding from various Donor agencies. Some of these activities include:. Leadership training on the role of leaders in a democratic and dispensation society. Documentation of Human Rights status in Malawi. Advocating in Human Rights.

THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE FOUNDATION. The annual General Meeting (AGM). The Annual General Meeting shall be the supreme composition of all the members of the Foundation. Quorum of AGM: Two Third Of Bonefide Membership. Duties of the AGM. A) Shall receive annual reports from the Board of Directors. B) Shall receive the auduted annual accounts report for the previous financial year from the finance and administration committee. C) Shall apoint auditors. E) Receive annual report for the Development Commitee.

Promotion of general understanding of and participation in political debate in democratic Malawi. Promoting civic education on Human Rights tolerance and peace among Malawians.
