http://africaahead.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Share my experience of volunteering in Africa. Monday, October 24, 2011. Finding Ways to Reach People. Perhaps one of the greatest qualities needed to succeed, or even just survive, in Malawi is the need to be flexible. The Grassroot Soccer intervention curriculum that is the center of what we do is designed to be that way and our coaches who take participants through the curriculum must be that way too. But much of the Grassroot Soccer curriculum is designed to need as little materials as possible.

Share my experience of volunteering in Africa. Wednesday, June 15, 2011. First off, thanks for being on this blog (intentionally or otherwise). For those of you that don't know, I have recently accepted a one year position as a volunteer intern in Africa for Grassroot Soccer, a leading HIV-prevention organization. AIDS remains the leading cause of death in sub-Saharan Africa, killing an estimated 3,800 men, women, and children a day. To combat this, Grassroot Soccer (GRS). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

So now we have done our last Sunday at church, last WFP meeting, last staff monthly prayer day, quite a few other lasts as well. We actually leave Malawi a week from today, and with still quite a bit of work to do, not to mention packing up the house and our luggage, it still feels a bit hectic. Mission to Malawi
Listen in on how the team from Piner Baptist Church, Morning View, KY is joining God at work in Malawi! Wednesday, July 29, 2009. So, our group is back home. Well, most of the group is back home. Lucas decided to stay in Malawi because the Lord called him to keep preaching to the new believers in the bush ministry. A few of us have expressed having a hard time coming back. We joked around saying "ah, I wanna bring those kids in my luggage back to America." Even though we know we can't do that, th...Well,...
