At the start of the trip we visited a park under the flight path and I made a comment that people landing into Mexico City might be able to spot the coasters. Friday, 8 May 2015. Feria Mineral de la Reforma. Located quite a drive north-east of Mexico City towards the city of Pachuca is the Feria de Mineral de La Reforma. Too large to play as a Scrabble move but hopefully an opportunity for us to add a few points to our coaster count. A large fountain display at the entrance was keeping the kids cool. Today was quite a hot day and we were out literally out in the desert. Emergency Services were close at hand. Perhaps the risk of fire is quite high out here.

Friday, 8 May 2015. Our first day was a long one as we were planning on heading out of Mexico City immediately on landing and heading north to the city of Aguascalientes in the centre of the country. Along the way we'd stop off at a number of parks, some old and some new. Bosque de Aragon is north of the airport and features a large lake in its centre. Friday, 8 May 2015. Having done the parks and with our flight back to Joburg not leaving til well into the night we decided to spend our evening at the harbour. This wheel will always be in my mind because a coaster stood on the ground it now stands on and I remember checking and rechecking on google maps that I was in the right place the last time I came here. There was some TV show audition thing being filmed here. I think the prize was to become a presenter on a music show. Arty shot of the wheel.
