Xmas 1999 in Maleny. Heron's Rest looked as lovely as it ever did this festive season. The rain held off for at least TWO whole days of our 7 day visit. Of course, the precipitation does wonderful things for the Coogan Rainforest and other assorted flora. I Can See For Miles and Miles. It does rain seriously in the Hinterland, but does present frequent landscapes that are truly memorable. Who You Laughing At? Birdwatchers delight in the variety of the local ornithod population. Xmas 1998 in Maleny. Nestled in the Hinterland of Queensland's Sunshine Coast is the town of Maleny. Maleny is sort of the Nimbin of Queensland. With a full house, including a rare visit from Uncle Graeme from Vancouver, all was set for a memorable time. The tree was in fine form and threats or its retirement didn't seem to affect it all.
