It was quite warm now. GO, MALINDA, GO! YOU CAN DO IT! I kicked my legs about aimlessly for a bit, thinking this might somehow propel my body upward. The bonus exertion betrayed me, however, and my palms grew damp. It would all be over soon. I was trying to do one pull-up. I think there’s something wrong with my sneakers!
