brainmoths: Art prints
http://gabrieldevue.blogspot.com/2012/10/art-prints.html
Donnerstag, 4. Oktober 2012. I have been asked repeatedly for art prints. My goal was to offer high quality prints on very good paper and the closest possible match to the original colors for a good price, so that everybody might be able to afford them. These are the three that made it into a first edition:. I put them up in singles and in a package over at my dawanda store. I hope, i did not miscalculate international shipping because for A3 Maxi Letter it seems to be cheaper internationally.

brainmoths: Juni 2013
http://gabrieldevue.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Mittwoch, 19. Juni 2013. Is back. The independent, dark comic features a lot of pitch black humor and crimson red commentary and centers around 4 dysfunctional Ladies. I update it Tuesdays. I am deeply enjoying working on this, even though that style is not marketable. Comics always force me to learn a lot of stuff I could study. If you enjoy black comedy, are a fan of splatter and drama, some noir and crime, conspiracy, feel invited to follow the ongoing story on http:/ www.twistedcomic.net.

http://gabrieldevue.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-calendar-of-2013.html
Samstag, 26. Januar 2013. The calendar of 2013. First of all, I started a facebook page just about my artworks and appreciate every follower. There I organize news and projects:. This week I finished a calendar for 2013. I decided to do one quite late - to be precise 2 weeks ago, because I really missed drawing my dates onto the wall and did not find a calendar I liked. Since this is so late, I offer the print-file as a free download. Eingestellt von Annelie Kretzschmar. Diesen Post per E-Mail versenden.

Sonntag, 30. Oktober 2011. There are a lot of ideas bothering me about this picture. I think, it's the first comparable one, that made me sad drawing, because to declaring a truce with one's monsters means that one has to have some monsters in the first place. The older I get, the more irrational and shapeless are these monsters, but living in a world where the Wild Things Are is also a vow for solitude. I let the colors go wild (photography again). Using a mixture of inks and watercolor as well as s...

brainmoths: Mai 2012
http://gabrieldevue.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Montag, 28. Mai 2012. Ink and watercolor review. Every time I pretend to do something with analogue media, I start to get really scientific about it. I love doing color-charts and tests and most of the time get lost in the colors instead of doing actual drawing. This time I finally did all the color-charts (except for black inks. I need a special system for this). Eingestellt von Annelie Kretzschmar. Diesen Post per E-Mail versenden. Mein Profil vollständig anzeigen. Blogs i hope to see updated often.

I wish I just could hand in a ring book folder. or something. But noooo. I will post a full review of the exhibition (which has ended) soon, I am still waiting for the permissions to post the photos. Thank you for stopping by : ). I keep explaining some of the designs (also showing the slightly more polished, sometimes colored versions).

brainmoths: September 2012
http://gabrieldevue.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Mittwoch, 19. September 2012. In February I finished the last strokes on a dear and fun project: An 8 pages short comic for " Geheimnisvolle Bibliotheken. A dark fantasy collection by Carolin Gmyrek, featuring 23 short stories and all together 3 comics. I really liked the idea to weave the comics into the prose. The titles of the comics read one sentence together. My word was "Schweigend" being silent. Thank you very much for asking me and giving me the opportunity to tell a story. So Far, So Bad.

The task was to make sailors aware of the problems of sea pollution. Read the 3 page PDF. We did not win but were honored as one of the best entries. Thank you for this competition, and thanks to Maren again for the great collaboration. It's always fun! To read the comic (PDF),. To see the other comics. Eingestellt von Annelie Kretzschmar.
