It's not about that. I'm leaving this place in 8 weeks. EIGHT WEEKS! That means i only have 7 more weekends to kayak/canyoneer/camp/hike/backpack/stare at the mountains. that also means that i only have 50 more days to play scrabble with my parents and 50 more nights to sleep in a queen-size bed. I'm committing myself to wholeheartedly love the place where i'm at, so for 50 more days i will love utah more than any other place on earth. and then. I will learn to love ohio (but not any sooner).

There is just something about matt's. matt nathanson, matt white band, matt hires, but the one who is the best of all is m.a.t.t.w.e.r.t.z. i had the chance to go see him in concert and it turned out to be one of the best nights of my life! I tend to forget things more often than most people. one day in my mental health diagnosis class, we discussed the subject of dementia and alzheimer's disease. i was immediately freaked out because i was convinced that i was experiencing early-onset alzheimer's. Sleeping bag. cliff bars. pistachios. swimsuit. llama sweater. lighter. 4 water bottles. 2 pairs of boots, 1 pair of tennis shoes, 3 pairs of flats. chacos. 3 library books. tent. a poster by Keith Haring (it will be worth $ $ someday). yoga mat. dirty clothes. clean clothes. llama stuffed animal. etc. It is no longer another 9x9 glass dish in drawer under the oven.
