Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Summer Scavenger Hunt - items 12,15,20,21. This was another hard one - lots of clouds but the one time I saw one that looked like something, I was on a train and just couldn't get to my camera quickly enough. Anyway - here is a pale version of the Scottish flag - the Saltire. Another Scottish flavoured photo - this is my god daughter's boyfriend. Dinosaurs were hard to come by this summer too! Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Another way of looking . . . I have never liked books where animals speak. Don't ask me why, I don't know why. But recently my daughter, Heather, told me how much she and the children had been enjoying The Wind in the Willows. She mentioned how Toad reminded her of someone . . . Maybe I should try reading it again, I thought. I was further encouraged when I realised I could download it for free on to my Kindle. As I said, there is always another way of looking at a situation.
