The turning leaves, cool weather (although it has been unseasonable warm this fall.shorts and tshirts in October? Saturday, July 12, 2014. 2014 baseball season wrap up! We feel like the Cobras are our second family during the spring and summer! The boys always showed good sportsmanship and really encouraged each other. They had a great group of coaches who made it fun for them, and never gave up on them when the chips were down at times. Monday, May 26, 2014. We have been partying hard lately! We have celebrated 3 birthday's, rejoiced in the rising of Jesus Christ, celebrated my "paid job", shown our new neighbors how to celebrate May Day, celebrated my "unpaid job" and celebrated with new friends and neighbors by hosting the monthly Bunco group. Thursday, January 15, 2015. What a blessed Christmas we had! Over the years our Christmas tradition hasn't detoured much. We do the same routine each year and I love it! Sunday, April 13, 2014. I think we may have turned the corner here in Iowa and left old man winter behind, although I see there is some snow in the forecast tonight! I actually got sunburned yesterday at Carter's baseball game and it felt so good! Spring also means it is time to consume lots of our favorite food! I really think it should be part of the food pyramid! We have a great little ice cream shoppe in Waukee who knows us by name! Wrong sport I know, but enjoying some sun at the park by our house!

Sunday, March 22, 2015. His only losses again this year were at National tournaments, losing twice to the #1 kid from California and another kid from Kansas. He was able to redeem his loss to the Kansas kid later on in the season, beating him to place at Flo Tulsa Nationals in Tulsa Oklahoma in January. The future of Waukee wrestling!
