Deliver a pie to Melissa. Visit at the hospital with Lil ( Mal`s been there since Saturday). Visit with Aunt May. Return home and make a late salad lunch. Make a few phone calls. Thursday, October 18, 2012. Laura and Jeremy's Wedding. I continue to struggle with making this blog happen, and as I looked back at my latest efforts I realized that I didn't blog about the most special day of August! Laura and Jeremy were married on August 28th at the Portland Oregon Temple. I'm not going to state the proceedings of the day.just record my feelings about it. Was endowment day and despite some challenges that the adversary would place. My baby girl was an incredibly beautiful bride.

Memories of our Halifax Temple Mission February 2012- August 2013. Monday, July 22, 2013. Tuesday, July 18th- A day off was planned to be a day-outing to Halifax! We would go with Elder and Sister Dela Cruz. We would ride across the Halifax Harbour on one of the passenger ferries. The day was beautiful and we had a wonderful day. Okay, this ferry terminal in Eastern Passage is not the terminal we wanted- this one is mainly used for those who cross the harbor for work each day and has a limited schedule.

Tuesday, 28 August 2012. Ladies. get your BOOBS SQUISHED! So after many months absent. I am writing again to remind ladies(and sometimes men? To get their boobs squished. I have just returned from my first ever real (as I went for a job requirement when I was 16/17) mammogram. and WOW do they ever H-U-R-T! I am just blogging to try and keep myself going and to get others to go "get squished" too! While it does hurt like H-E-double hockey sticks, I would rather the 15-20 minutes of pain to the alternative!

Produced a variation of my usual bliss ball recipe which was so delicious and rich and truffly I have to write down at least the ingredients, if not the proportions (which were of the "plonk things into the food processor til it looks right" variety). I usually use almond or hazelnut meal but I have run out, so used the seed mix instead, and I think I prefer the result. Dates (about half the volume of the recipe). Sultanas (about half as much as the dates, maybe a bit more).
